Wonderful Times and Memories Made with Family

We had some wonderful times and made some beautiful memories when family came to stay....

First of all, our niece Lizzie came to stay for a long weekend.
We all had a lovely relaxing time enjoying a barbecue in the garden, a delicious pizza at the local pizzeria at Scaer and a warm riverside walk at Chateauneuf-du-Faou.

Lizzie helped me d├ęcoupage this door patchwork style...a nod to the French tradition of wallpapering the door panel!

A week later, Katherine, Sam and Charlie arrived for a few nights before heading down to the coast.

The weather was changeable but warm enough for a barbecue in the garden as well as a lovely sunny walk down the track.

Fun with the hay bales!

We had a day at the beach near Le Pouldu. Spencer wasn't allowed on the main beach so Chris and I walked along the coastal path and found a good dog beach for Spencer!

Meanwhile, Charlie had been having fun building sandcastles.

We had a couple of rainy days but that worked out fine as Sam and Chris were fitting the new sink, cupboard and worktop in the kitchen.

Focaccia for lunch!

Fun in the puddles after all the rain!

The rain held off for a day in Concarneau.

Wonderful times and memories!
